ok as of posting this i cannot figure out how to apply the toon shading to my render so i'm planning to come in early tomorrow morning to get some help before class starts (hopefully its an easy fix so i can get back to work, sorry i keep having a lot of trouble) EDIT: figured it out EDIT 2:
